This is not a beginner mountain bike trip. We will be riding more technical natural trails that push your skills and allow you to advance your technique. The most difficult trails are a minimum of S2. Depending on the mountain bike skills of the camp participants, we could ride more difficult singletrack. Find information on the rating scale here

This camp is for those that enjoy challenging terrain, and don’t mind putting in some vertical distance to ride the finest. We’ll use chairlifts and gondolas as needed to maximize vertical, but riders should be fit enough for a 1000m climb, and should be prepared for a full (6 hr) day of riding challenging, epic singletrack.

Although hardtail bikes are adequate, a full suspension enduro style bike with at least 130mm of travel is ideal for this trip. Don’t worry, you will be spotted and assisted through any sections that you you are unsure about.  Good tires (2.35″ profile, puncture protection), helmet, knee and elbow protectors, backpack, long gloves, and apparel for a long day spent at altitude in the mountains (insulated layer, rain jacket, hat) are a must. Drop us a line if you’re not sure– we’re happy to help make sure your gear is dialed.
