MOUNTAIN BIKE CAMP: The Perfect Holiday with Kids
Bike Austria Guides teach kids how to have fun and be healthy
Bike Austria mountain bike camp teaches kids the freedom and exhilaration of riding fast and in control. During the 4-day MTB Summer camps, participants will learn to control their mountain bike in many different situations. They will gain confidence in more challenging terrain. Essential basic techniques will be covered including braking, turning-techniques, jumps, steep downhill trails, rooty singletrack, switchback corners, and more. More advanced, but essential MTB techniques, such as the wheelie drop and bunny hop will also be a part of the summer camp program.
During the mountain bike camp, we’ll ride plenty of singletracks, take cable cars high into the mountains, and maybe jump into a beautiful mountain lake. Our MTB summer camps are all about having a blast on the mountain bike in a group-focused, fun-filled environment. Participants will be organized into two groups, 7-12 and 13-16 years old.
An unforgettable adventure for the aspiring young rider who has already developed solid basic skills upon the bike. Without a focus on safety, we could not offer such a fun experience. Learn more about our Commitment to Safety.

Bike Austria programs are wholesome, structured experiences with high expectations of each camper’s behavior. Our campers are expected to be enthusiastic, positive, helpful and supportive of each other and of their leaders; they are expected to have chosen an appropriate trip for their interests and abilities; they are expected to have prepared adequately so that they can keep up physically and participate in all of the group’s activities. We reserve the right to dismiss any camper for any reason whatsoever—including but not limited to: rule breaking, misbehaving or an inability to fully participate or to keep up physically. Campers who are dismissed receive no refund and all costs associated with the dismissal are the sole responsibility of the parents/guardians.
Why Bike Austria Summer Camps
Our summer camps are limited to small groups for a better, safer experience—we pay attention to age, grade, gender, and ability to ensure a great experience for every kid.
Far more than mountain bike guides, the team members at Bike Austria are role models of the highest caliber. MTB Training is approached in a supportive and wholesome environment where each rider can learn to ride safely and have fun.
Bike Austria Summer Camps are guided by our leaders but driven by the kids. With the trainers’ support, our young riders motivate each other and experience the rewards of positive group dynamics.
We carefully evaluate each participant to make sure that the goals of riding trails and enjoying the outdoors can be achieved. We do not allow beginners to participate and require that each rider has the appropriate equipment to ride with the group.
