GUIDED AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS WITH BIKE AUSTRIA
Healthy Fun for Kids
Bike Austria has dedicated itself to creating an After School Bike Program in conjunction with the Sportclub Mittersill – Section Rad. Dr. Tracy Anderson, having two children himself, started and leads the Section. Basic skills are learned on our world-class PUMP’N’SKILLS PARK. Once ready, the kids are shuttled up high on the local mountains with a mix of riding to get back home. Participation in the After School Bike Program is rapidly increasing and more guides are coming on board. Kids from all communities are welcome, with some driving from Hopfgarten in Tirol to get in on the action. The next generation of youth are mountain bikers!
We will begin training when Elementary School is back in session after lockdown. Thank you
PUMPTRACK AND SKILLS PARK MITTERSILL

In August 2018 the 2500 m2 world class PUMP’N’SKILLS PARK opened in Mittersill, Austria. This bike facility is unique in all of Austria and offers the kids in Mittersill the chance to have incredible amounts of fun while getting exercise outside. After-School Bike Programs are organized based upon age and ability, taking place once per week for kids 6-16 years old. Contact us to sign up.
FUN TOURS
Our After School “Fun Tours” Bike Program consists of three phases in preparing the young shredders to be life long participants in the sport. First, the students learn the necessary cycling skills for safe and confident riding. Second, we go on progressively more exciting local bike tours that increase fitness. Third, their new enduro biking skills are put to use once a month at one of the many bike parks. Register below.

MOUNTAIN BIKE WEEKENDS

Mittersill is central to some of the best mountain biking in the world. In addition to the world famous options at Saalbach and Leogang, new trails are being developed in Kitzbühel, Brixen im Thale, Liezen, and Zillertal. The After School Bike Programs focus on teaching and perfecting the necessary skills for our weekend adventures. The Sektion Radsport organizes multiple trips throughout the year that allow the young riders to try their new skills. Spots are limited due to transportation, so sign up now.
