REQUIRED RIDING ABILITY
The Austrian Alps are filled with natural, technical singletrack MTB trails. When guided by the team at Bike Austria, you will only experience the best. Switchbacks, root carpets, steep steps and blocked rocky sections are on the menu. Perfect for enduro and all-mountain riders who just do not want to see a bike park for one long weekend – you also won’t see any wooden drops, doubles or tables – we are talking “old school” trail riding. The difficulty of the trails is S2-S3. Click here for Difficulty Scale.
REQUIRED FITNESS
to enjoy singletrack MTB trails in Austria
A reasonable level of fitness is required to enjoy riding big singletrack MTB trails in the Austrian Alps. We certainly pay for some vertical with sweat, but always at a comfortable pace and normally on road grades. You should be able to ride 400 m of uphill within an hour. Nevertheless, the tours are conditionally very challenging – the long, technical descents are very exhausting for the upper body and arm muscles.
